The media exhibition at Künstler*innenhaus Dortmund is one of the festival’s cornerstones and presents a panorama of contemporary digital arts.

Between VR experiences, experimental games, video installations, and interactive interfaces, a diverse field unfolds, connecting playful curiosity with societal questions. Here, new forms of storytelling become visible, blurring the lines between art and game, between observing and participating. Wander through Mélanie Courtinat’s decelerated dreamscapes, embark on a rescue mission that quickly shifts your perspective, play your way to the future with a crystal ball, or roam through the Quantum Jungle.

Token Eater & Wasted – Two games, two reflections of our consumer world. In Token Eater, the claw machine transforms into a hunt for electronic scrap that refills endlessly. Wasted, on the other hand, throws us into an absurd arena of ATMs, where failure and crashing are part of the game.
