Helping Hands Wanted
For before and during the festivalWe are looking for dedicated student assistants for the Next Level Festival for Games, Interactive Art and Digital Theater, who would like to support us as Helping Hands in various Dortmund cultural venues from November 10th to 17th, 2025. The festival combines artistic installations, interactive experiences, and discursive formats relating to digital culture and gaming.
The areas of responsibility are diverse: In the set-up phase (November 10–13), we need support with setting up exhibition spaces and setting up artistic installations, stages and venues. During the festival (November 13–16), we are looking for staff to help visitors use VR glasses or interactive works, give them instructions and be available as contacts for questions about the exhibitions. After the festival (November 16–17), we look forward to help with dismantling.Ideally, you will be available for the entire period and have an interest in digital art, gaming or theater. Initial experience in event or cultural operations is an advantage, but not a must. A class B driving license is also desirable, but not a requirement. Reliability and a willingness to get involved are important to us. A confident handling of media technology, in particular in dealing with technical equipment such as VR setups, is part of the tasks.
The activity is appropriately remunerated (as a working student job). If you would like to actively help shape an exciting cultural festival, we look forward to receiving your short application by email – informally and with details of your availability and any previous knowledge in the field of technology, gaming and media – to with the subject “Helping Hands – Next
Level Festival 2025″.
