An abstract video game labyrinth full of future visions and decisions.

The Core by Dorijan Šiško is a video game that leads its players into an abstract labyrinth where various future visions unfold. Entry is gained through a speculative interface reminiscent of a crystal ball, serving as a control instrument to navigate the path to the mysterious core. Along this path, intersections open up, leading to accelerated routes into different futures. Every decision creates new trajectories and shifts the direction of the journey, allowing alternative worlds to develop from previously taken steps. This constant balancing act between possibility and uncertainty transforms navigation into a game of one’s own imagination. Once the core is finally reached, the goal loses its aura: the longed-for future reveals itself as an image merely awaiting the completion of an imaginary journey. The Core invites players to endure the tension between expectation and experience, demonstrating how every vision of the future is simultaneously construction, projection, and transmission.
