Electric Feelings Exhibition
The Digital Co-Production Lab (KoLab) presents the “Electric Feelings” exhibition as part of the Next Level Festival, featuring projects at the intersection of art, technology, and society. For three days, emerging artists will showcase works in the KoLab spaces that make interactivity tangible as a dialogue between humans and machines. The exhibition was preceded by an open call, which selected works by digital artists from Dortmund, the Ruhr area, and NRW. Submissions included interactive installations, games, web-based projects, and AR and VR experiences that invite visitors to co-create and engage.
The exhibition opens on Friday at 7:30 PM. Enjoy the exhibition with a cool drink and connect with other creatives and cultural professionals.
Electric Feelings Exhibition Artist Talk
In the Artist Talk, the digital artists explain their works exhibited in the co-production laboratory (KoLab). The artists explore how digital systems present themselves as co-creators of our perception and feelings. Their interactive installations, games, and XR experiences invite visitors to actively enter into a dialogue with technology – through movement, decision, and resonance.
In the discussion, we would like to address the following questions together:
How does interaction with machines feel?
How does the digital world change our ideas of creativity, control, and relationships?
Date: 11/14/25, 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM
