In Catch Art if You Can!, the audience becomes active. Visitors take on the role of art thieves and move freely through a fictional art exhibition that becomes the playing field. The goal is to steal artworks, determine their value, and bring them unnoticed to headquarters without being caught by the museum guard.
It’s not just about skill and strategy, but also about questions: What makes art valuable? Who determines its price? And how far can you go to own it? This creates an experience that is equally performative, social, and critical, a game that is fun and at the same time challenges the view of art, value, and scope for action.
Comfortable clothing is recommended and a little courage to get caught.
