The artists Julie C. Stamm and Anna Deborah Disse have been working together for five years on interdisciplinary dance productions and research projects. Julie works at the intersection of choreography and media art. With a background in neuroaesthetics (Goldsmiths University London), contemporary dance (Performact), and experimental sensor technology, Julie explores how digital technologies shape our movements and collective body images. In site-specific performances, interactive setups, and immersive spaces, she links body, technology, and space to choreotechnical narratives. Anna is a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher focusing on improvisation and the connection of movement, identity, and presence. After training at the Ballettakademie Hans Vogl and Performact, Anna has been involved in projects with, among others, dajci*, Julie C. Stamm, and Celia Morris. For over six years, she has been teaching dance to young people and showing her own works in Berlin.
