Hackathon Workshop: Immersive Interaction with TouchDesigner & HTC Vive Trackers

In this hands-on workshop with Barış Pekçağlıyan and Kevin Clever, participants will learn how to connect HTC Vive Trackers with TouchDesigner to create interactive, sensor-based experiences. Together, they will explore how to use body and movement to control digital creations – through experiments with live digital painting, real-time data mapping, and techniques of cleaning and clamping. The session also includes a brief introduction to TouchDesigner. Level All experience levels are welcome! Prior knowledge is helpful, but not required – ideally, participants have already taken their first steps with TouchDesigner. What to bring A laptop with a current graphics card (recommended: RTX 2000 series or AMD equivalent and higher) if you plan to use TouchDesigner on your own computer. Please install the current stable version of TouchDesigner in advance and register for a free non-commercial license. Optional: Install SteamVR to test the setup on your own computer.
